The day had come. The small boy knew this as he sat in the cold cage, dreading his fate. He was slowly being dragged towards the tall building holding his greatest fear. A fear that all children hold, and probably the worst.
Why are they doing this? Why are they so evil? The boy cried in his head.
The child's face pressed up against the bars of his prison on wheels as he looked out. The world was bleak and terrible outside, stormy, though to the boy it seemed almost radiant compared to what was to come.
